Courtney Collins is a singer, songwriter, voice actor, and video producer from Madison, Wisconsin.

She has released six recordings to date – as a solo artist, with frequent collaborator Jeremy Ylvisaker (Andrew Bird, Alpha Consumer) and J.T. Bates (Taylor Swift, Blind Boys Of Alabama, A Prairie Home Companion), and Michael Lewis (Bon Iver, Arcade Fire) and with her previous bands Arena Venus and Voltress.

Her recordings have been reviewed in the Onion AV Club, the Big Takeover, the Wisconsin State Journal, and in many regional publications and websites.  Most of her albums have been recorded in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Ylvisaker and engineer Andrew Thomas.

As a voice actor, Collins has lent her voice to national public service announcements, commercials for Audible, corporate training narrations, and comedy videos.

Collins often works as a video producer with Blame Society Productions, most notably on the Chad Vader series. An internet comedy series, Chad Vader has garnered over 150 million views and has been featured on Good Morning America, VH-1, BBC News, and in USA Today and in the New York Times. She has also produced videos for Machinima and Turner Network’s Adult Swim/Super Deluxe.

She serves as coordinator and online moderator during the live Beer and Board Games YouTube show every other weekend, at beerandboard.com. She recently created a new interview series with Aaron Yonda called “Hot Seat with Hal Thompson,” featuring Samantha Bee, Dweezil Zappa, Hank and John Green, Arabian Prince of N.W.A., The Melvins, and Liam Charles of Great British Bake Off as recent guests. Collins released her newest album “Hinterlands,” which was described as “honing a shivering, glacial beauty” by The Big Takeover magazine in 2017, and is currently working on an album of old English folks songs with her friend Jeremy Ylvisaker.
